The Amsons Group corporate strategy has evolved as its businesses have grown, matured, and diversified into new sectors and regions over the last decade.

Starting out as an importer of bulk oil and petroleum products trading concern in the mid 2000s. Our strategy had transformed to a focus on manufacturing for import substitution. In the following years the Group’s approach further adjusted to strategic business diversification of fuel and lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), transportation, cement and concrete, inland container depots (ICDS), Camel Flour, Tanzania Clou Electronics Company Limited and Amsons Real estate.

MD Message

The Amsons Group has been delivering sustainable profit growth while building a solid business foundation amidst a challenging operation environment. Our mission is to extend this trajectory into the future and turn the Amsons Group into a leading global organization.

We continue to face new challenges in our environment. The pace and scale of change are unprecedented. In order to overcome these challenges, the Amsons Group constantly undergoes organizational transformation that includes initiatives such as globalization and restructuring these improvement enables us to become faste at identifying and addressing shifts in the landscape. But there more to be done and we remain fully committed to strengthening our capabilities and to further evolving the origination going forward.

It is essential that we align our actions to meet consumer needs. To do that we think it is important to build upon a model based on our mantra ‘’stepping to serve’’ which affirms our commitment to serve’ our four valued stakeholder group, consumer, shareholders, employees, and the wider society with consumer at its core.

We are confident that we can exceed expectations of all stakeholder by carefully considering their respective interests.
